FCPS is providing all K-8 students with a Summer Essentials Practice book. We encourage all students to complete this practice book. You can find more information about how to request a copy if you do not already have one by clicking here. 

Kilmer Math teachers also encourage all rising 7th and 8th graders (with the exception of students who have already completed Algebra 1), to work 90 minutes each week on their grade level Journey in ST Math. Families may choose to track this using this Weekly Accomplishment Log, or by creating one of their own. Please note: The linked log is a Google Slide Deck behind the FCPS walled garden. Your student must be logged in to their Google account to access. 

All of these activities are recommended and will not be collected or graded.
