Visual Arts
About
The Visual Arts department at Kilmer Middle School offers several outlets for students to problem-solve, fine-tune, learn new skills, express themselves, get messy, and create. Classes are designed with three areas in mind: process, product, and understanding. Students will accomplish this with the development of technical skills, problem-solving, the context of the art we create, and reflection of why we make art. Courses here at Kilmer are semester courses so students will have the opportunity to take more than one course and explore several mediums.
